What is Animal Buds?
Animal Buds is a social network designed specifically for your pet. Why should you have all the fun on the Internet these days, while your little (or large) animal friend is left out? Animal Buds allows you to create an online profile for your pet and make Animal Bud friends with other animals on the network. Keep in touch with all you animal friends with AnimalBuds.com! back to top Is Animal Buds just for dogs or cats? Absolutely not! While dogs and cats are welcome, we are called "Animal" Buds for a reason. Animal Buds doesn't discriminate against any type of animal. So if your little goldfish wants to make some Animal Buds too, please don't leave him...or her out. back to top How do I create an Animal Bud profile? Creating an Animal Bud profile is easy, all you need is an email address and a willing pet. Under the Animal Buds logo on the top right side of the screen, click on the "Register" link just beneath the login boxes. Complete the registration form and well.... that's pretty much it. You will receive a confirmation email including your login details and your account will be activated. And please don't put anything in your profile you don't want others to see. back to top How do I update my Animal Bud profile? To update your profile you must first login to your account. Once you are logged in click on the "View Your Profile" button of the right hand side of the screen. In the "Animal Buds Actions" section click on "Update Your Animal Bud Profile". To update what is displayed in your profile click on the "Animal Bud Profile" tab. Here you can customize everything that is displayed to other animals that are viewing your Animal Bud profile. Don't but things in your profile you don't want other people to know, everything you write in your Animal Bud profile can be viewed by other users. You can update your Animal Bud image by clicking on the "View Your Profile" button. In the "Animal Buds Actions" section click on the "Update Your Animal Bud Image" link. You can select a picture from your computer to use as your Animal Bud image. back to top How do I make Buds? You first need to find an animal you want to be buds with. You can browse through all the animals who have an Animal Bud profile by clicking on "Browse Animals" button at the top of the screen. While viewing the animal you want to bud with, click on "Request To Be Buds" link in the "Animal Buds Actions" section. A Bud Request will be sent to the animal and if they confirm, you will then be buds. Other animals can also send you Bud Requests. You will receive an email when you get a bud request. You will also be alerted of any requests with a message just below the Animal Buds logo on the top right side of the screen. To confirm a Bud Request, go to your profile and in the "Animal Bud Actions" section click on the "Manage Your Buds" link. You can confirm or reject Bud Requests by clicking on the "Manage Animal Bud Actions" tab. back to top How do I stop being buds with an animal? Well hopefully you guys can work it out but if you really want to stop being buds with someone, first go to your profile. In the "Animal Buds" tab at the bottom of your profile, you can remove a bud by clicking on the red "X" next the bud you want to remove. You can also click on "Buds" then "Manage Your Buds". Under the "Mange Animal Buds" tab you can remove a bud by, again, clicking on the red "X" next to the bud you want to remove. back to top What are Animal Shouts? Animal Shouts is a guest book just for your Animal Bud. Your buds can post a shout to your profile and you can do the same to your buds. To view shouts from your buds, simply click on the "Animal Shouts" tab near the bottom of your profile. You can post a Shoutback to any of your shouts to respond to something a bud said. To post an Animal Shout to one of your buds, go to their profile and click on the "Animal Shout" tab near the bottom of their profile. back to top I still have more questions.
